ABOUT ME
HI! MY NAME IS CASSIDY, AND I AM A
NEW MEDIA GENERALIST, DESIGNER, AND ARTIST
My background is extremely diverse with experience in traditional and digital art, as well as a broad academic experience in sciences and the arts. I do a bit of everything including animation, web design, social media management, 3D work, branding, graphic design, illustration, and video editing. This list grows every day as I’m never afraid to tackle something new.
I’ve worked on several game design teams, taking on a wide range of roles from a UI designer, to a modeler, to an animator. I was also a part of the development team for the My Viva chatbot, YARO, working as a UI designer, researcher, and animator. I currently work with UC Baby, creating content for their social media and coordinating branding. I also designed their mascots, Lucy and Lucas, as well as animated a collection of shorts featuring them.
My work has been shown in various exhibitions such as the Undergraduate Student Showcase of Winter 2020 and Summer 2021, southernAB, and [Dis] Connected. The Jim and Mary Kearl Library has also displayed several of my collections.
This all makes me a terrific addition to any team looking for a designer that can take on whatever project they need! My skills grow everyday as I'm always exploring software and media and perfecting the ones I know. My creativity and passion promise that every project will be something special.
