ROTOSCOPES
Bled Dry, The Weather Station, and Breakfast on the Terrance
These are some of my rotoscope animations, all of which show off my love of fantasy and worldbuilding. Bled Dry was featured in the [Dis]Connected student exhibition and the Undergraduate Student Showcase of Summer 2021. The Weather Station was shown in the Undergraduate Student Showcase of Winter 2020. Scripting, animating, and editing was done by myself, with Tyler Hippard composing the music for all of them.
3D ANIMATIONS
UC Baby
UC Baby had a very fun idea: they wanted to create a baby mascot for their ultrasound company that would provide mothers with a humorous look at what their little ones might be up to in the womb. I had the absolute joy of designing, modelling, texturing, and rigging what ended up being the twins: Lucy and Lucas. I also scripted and animated the subsequent shorts that they appeared in. A complete playlist of these animations can be seen on their YouTube channel.

LOOPING 3D ANIMATIONS
My Viva
I was fortunate enough to work with the health and wellness company My Viva to help create the next generation of their AI chatbot: YARO 2.0. We wanted a character that was compassionate, encouraging, and fun, and I tried to capture that in the movements and mannerisms of YARO. I both rigged and animated the character.

Animation is an incredibly diverse way of storytelling. Although I usually work with rotoscope and hand drawn techniques or with 3D animation, I have worked with several other forms. Above is a collection of animation tests ranging from sand, to traditional stop motion, to screencaps on an iPad.
